Mo and Calvin wanted to do something special and slightly out of the box for their wedding. They knew they wanted it to be intimate, they knew they wanted it to be relaxed, and they knew they wanted it to be D.C. They nailed it. We showed up at their apartment in the morning, walked with them and their pup to get coffee and breakfast, documented Mo getting her hair/makeup done at St. Germain downtown, went to the historic Mayflower Hotel as they helped each other get ready, then watched them, along with their closest loved ones (I think like 11 or 13 people?), get married at the DC War Memorial. They had their first dance in this amazing D.C. memorial, you guys. It was amazing. We then walked around to some other memorials, got some pretty neat shots/footage of them being beautiful, and then met up with their family and friends at Teddy And The Bully Bar for dinner and CAKE.
There were too many touching, beautiful, inspiring things about this wedding and this couple. Hopefully what we captured will do them partial justice.
David did a little something different with their film, so be sure to check it out at the end!
